We have more than 20 years of experience

Technical expertise, references and international experience guarantee a successful project

We are members of AVIXA (formerly InfoComm), an association that supports the audiovisual industry worldwide and provides certification programs. CTS certification holders have expert technical knowledge and are familiar with new trends in AV technology. They apply this knowledge to the design of AV systems. This results in functionally reliable compatible solutions and communication within the project team.

Ondřej Sedláček

Executive Director

Ondra graduated from the Secondary Industrial School of Communication Technology in 1989 and continued his studies at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University. Since high school he worked as a student at ETS (Experimental Television Studio), where he participated in the production, revival and installation of industrial television systems. At the same time he was also active in working with professional television equipment, especially SONY. He used this experience in the first half of the 1990s working for emerging television companies as an editor and TV technology technician.

In the second half of the 1990s he moved into a managerial role, managing sales and service activities for foreign companies. He was part of the design team for the design and implementation of multimedia systems in the then Sazka Arena, dominated by the central cube and a 310-metre long display around the entire arena. In 2005, he was authorized by ČKAIT and a year later he was among the first from Eastern Europe to be certified by AVIXA (then InfoComm). He gained further experience with Bosch Security Systems. A significant milestone was accepting an offer from Biamp Systems, where he worked for almost 10 years as Regional Manager, managing business in 34 countries in Northern, Central and Eastern Europe. For the last 5+ years he has worked with CUE as Sales Manager. He has accepted the offer and will take over the management of Design4avi from April 2024.

Ing. Václav Jezbera

Designer

Vasek became the first certified AV system designer in the Czech Republic. Václav joined the company as a junior designer and quickly became a vital support to the team. He has been involved in a number of cinema projects, the most recent ones being in Lomnice nad Popelkou or Rychnov nad Kněžnou, multifunctional halls such as the Milovice Cultural House and, last but not least, he has created design documentation for 1,200 meeting rooms in courts across the Czech Republic.

Vasek has extended his certification to CTS-D, which allows him to participate in the design of innovative solutions within the corporate and higher education segments. For his professional qualities and diligence, he was nominated in the European CTS Holder of the Year category for the 19th AV AWARDS competition, where he advanced to the top 4. He holds a CKAIT authorization in the field of Building Technology Equipment.

Designer

Sebastian graduated from the Secondary School of Industry with a specialization in electrical engineering. During his studies he worked at LG Systems. He is a project specialist in the schools segment and it is mainly thanks to him that we managed to prepare the documentation for the iRop project call, which in 2022 represented a huge scope of work and responsibilities. These were projects for specialist classrooms for language, science or robotics education, which he created by the dozens. Children in primary and secondary schools across the Czech Republic will thus be exposed to the products of his work.

Sebastian holds a CTS certification from AVIXA.

Michal Vajda

Acoustician, designer

Michal graduated from the Gymnasium Brno, Křenová and subsequently joined the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication Technologies at Brno University of Technology, where he specialized in Acoustics and Audiovisual Technology.

Designing in the field of spatial acoustics was already the focus of his bachelor thesis.
Michal joined the DESIGN 4AVI design team in early 2023 and has been involved in the preparation of project documentation in the field of spatial acoustics since then. The projects are always interesting, varied and of different scales. For example, he has prepared acoustic studies for the multipurpose hall of Brno - Tuřany Town Hall, the meeting room of Radio Free Europe or GlobalPayments, the auditorium of Jan Kepler Gymnasium, the restaurant of THAYA Winery and others.
